Traffic measurement and privacy

Public-page analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits to public educational and marketing pages, including pages viewed, referring websites and approximate country/device information. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and anonymized. Counts may be incomplete when tracking is blocked.

Our analytics filter excludes journal pages, signed-in course lessons and games, login, authentication callbacks, checkout and API routes. It removes URL query strings and fragments. We do not send trade amounts, holdings, exercise answers, email addresses or account IDs as analytics events. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable our analytics collection.

Separate Threads and Instagram entry URLs help us compare aggregate landing-page visits. They do not identify individual people or prove a conversion. This initial experiment does not use advertising pixels, paid advertising or session replay.

Public introductory exercises may record aggregate start, completion and course-link events. No exercise answers or input values are sent. These events use the same public-page, URL-cleaning and browser opt-out filters; private course lessons and checkout remain excluded.

Accounts and payments

Account authentication and purchases are separate from this public-page measurement. Essential sign-in storage may still be used for account access; the cookie-free description applies to analytics, not all website functionality.
